FOURWARD (2020)
WITHIN A TIMELINE OF 6 MONTHS
ZBRUSH - MAYA - UNITY
My capstone final year game project for university revolved around me wanting to expand my skills in creating characters for game. I set myself the challenge of designing, modelling, rigging, and animating all four characters, then using them in my unity scene with AI pathfinding and giving them different access to places based on which character is currently being controlled by the player.

WITHIN A TIMELINE OF 5 MONTHS
MAYA - SUBSTANCE PAINTER - UNITY
This is my 3D Unity game project focusing on creating an interactive environment for the player to wander around in. I went with a swamp theme so I could experiment with moody lighting and make the interactive mushrooms light up in a satisfying contrast to the rest of the scene. I designed, modelled, rigged, and animated the character myself using Maya, as well as all the objects in the scene (excluding the water and ground, which were from Unity.)

This game was created as part of our Game-A-Week challenges during the final year of university as a way to challenge us to ideate in an effective and quick way. I worked in a pair on this, and we chose to use an asset pack so that we could focus our time on the gameplay. My responsibilities included setting up the menu, and working collaboratively on coding and gameplay.
